Mulberry Contractors Ltd, are based on the West Sussex/Hampshire border covering Sussex and Hampshire. We are able to provide solutions (design, build and maintenance) for landscaping, fencing, environmental and agricultural projects of any size.

Our experience and expertise enables us to work with our clients to provide tailor-made solutions and gives us the capability to complete projects of any scale.

Rhys Hughes - MD Mulberry Contractors

Rhys holds a degree in Agriculture from Plymouth University and also has a wide variety of practical and advisory qualifications (BASIS and FACTS).

Rhys holds 'Qualified Workforce' status with the National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC). The NPTC exists to promote competence and professionalism in the workforce of the land-based and related industries by the encouragement of continuous learning and the recognition of skill.

Rhys set up Mulberry Contractors in April 2009

Helen Hughes BA (Hons) - Business Improvement Manager

Helen Hughes - Development Manager - Mulberry Contractors

Helen holds a degree in Personnel Management from Plymouth University and is qualified to Chartered MCIPD level.

With over 7 years experience working within the public and private sector, Helen specialises in Employee Relations and Training & Development.

Adam Lebbon - Estate Maintenance Contracts


Adam is one of Mulberry contractors key operatives, invaluable on any site. He is responsible for the grass cutting contracts and other grounds maintenance operations.

Adam is a skilled driver holding a HGV licence and is equally at home in a tractor for fencing or other tasks.

Tom Ballingal - Groundworks


Tom is a recent addition to Mulberry Contractors. He bolsters the team on larger projects, providing hard and soft landscaping experience.

Tom studied at Chichester University.

David Bavin MSc, BSc (Hons) - Consultant Ecologist

David works closely with Mulberry Contractors providing specialist ecological advice. David graduated with the Sir Alfred Lewis Prize, awarded to the best final year student who has completed a degree course at Bangor University’s School of Biological Sciences.

Our team can survey and advise you on your land and the wildlife that lives there. These surveys provide valuable information to support planning applications. They can identify potential habitats for protected species, and any constraints that might impact on a project.

Neil Holley-Williams - Information Technology and Web


Neil has over 25 years experience of Information Technology management at Blue Chip companies such as Skandia Life, Perpetual Invesco, IBM, P&O Cruises and Cunard. Neil is reponsible for Mulberry's online presence and online customer communication programme.

Neil has worked with Mulberry Contractors since early 2010
